This course incorporates lecture and hands on scenarios applying theory to practical workplace situations. A large portion of the class dives into the inspection, maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, anchorage points, and fall arrest devices. This is a very active hands-on course which will require participants to utilize a wide range of fall protection equipment.
This class does not certify the student as a Competent Person, only the employer can designate their own employee as a “Competent Person”. This class provides information regarding the OSHA standards and safety guidelines. It does not provide the significant work experience required to be considered a Competent Person.
Included: Student booklet, handouts and Certificate of Completion.
Students must bring their own harness for inspection and use.
