The goal of this program is to provide refresher level training for the environmental site worker who has previously undergone the 24 or 40 hour HAZWOPER courses.
This course can accommodate for First Responders at the Operations and Awareness levels also.
At the completion of this course, students will have reviewed the following: Regulatory Overview; Basic Safety Management; Safety Hazards; Electrical Hazards; Biological Hazards; Hearing Conservation; Heat Stress; Hazard Communication; Chemical & Physical Properties of Hazardous Materials; Toxicology; Chemical Protective Clothing; Respiratory Protection; Levels of Protection; Permit Required Confined Space Entry
Course is concluded with a written examination.
Student Manual and Certificate of Completion are included.
NOTE: Emergency Response Guidebooks (ERG's) are used as resources in the class and returned after use. However, they are available for purchase and/or available for free download. If you would like to purchase an ERG, please notify your representative so they can be ordered in advance for your training.
