The 10-hour program is intended to provide instruction on a variety of construction industry safety and health standards to entry-level participants.
This course is designed for construction workers, foremen, job supervisors, and anyone involved in the construction industry. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on the specific hazards of the job.
This training is conducted on two separate days per OSHA training guidelines.
Mandatory Program Topics: Intro to OSHA Standards/Focus Four Hazards (5hrs); Personal Protective Equipment (30min); Safety Health Program (30min); Material Handling (30min); Power Tools (30min).
(7) Seven electives to choose from: Stairways and Ladders (30min); Scaffolds (30min); Trenching and Excavation 30min); Confined Space Entry (30min); Fire Protection (30min); Welding (30min); Cranes (30min); Powered Industrial Trucks (30min); Accident Investigations (30min).
