The purpose of this training is to increase the Forklift Operator’s awareness about capabilities, limitations, engineering principals and CAL/OSHA Regulations regarding Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT). This webinar covers: Forklift Safety; Cal/OSHA regulations; Operator responsibilities; Knowledge of safe operating rules; Conducting an inspection; Using an inspection worksheet; *Practical driving test; Causes of accidents; Engineering principals; Propane Refueling Safety, and Battery Recharging Safety.
Classroom training concluded with a hands-on driving skills evaluation conducted at the location where your forklift is located. Performance evaluation start times may vary due to instructor availability. Southern California hands-on locations only.
OSHA requires retraining at least every 3 years.
